In 2017, an old warehouse with broken windows in downtown Eau Claire was remodeled and transformed from a "white box of a storage space," to,"a full-service bicycle repair shop, craft coffee bar, and all-around creative lounge." The owners of Shift are a dynamic team who required a dynamic space. By maintaining steel beams on the ceiling, exposing old brick walls, and utilizing local craftsman to forge furniture from salvaged wood & metal, we created an industrial-urban hub for the community to enjoy. In the few years that Shift has been established, they have won several "Best of Eau Claire" awards for their products, services and space!
